International Student Club

The Culinary Institute of America has a club on campus called the International Student Club. At this club, international students can come and speak their native language with other students from their countries. This provides them with an opportunity to connect with other students of their own cultures. It also just gives the students another way to make more friends and meet more people at the school.

There are many countries that the students of the CIA come from, including the following:
India, Trinidad and Tobago, China, England, the Philipines, Korea, Spain, France, Japan, Italy, and the West Indies. There are many more countries that the students of the CIA originate from.

Here are a few student's opinions on the diversity at the Culinary Institute of America:

Manuel Medeira - India
"For me the turning point was becoming a member of the International Student Club and meeting new people, being able to organize events and talk to the various chefs about food culture and variety."

Emerald UY - Philipines
"The diversity of the CIA campus really helped me adjust to the environment a lot quicker and gain more friends."

Marvin Holder - Trinidad and Tobago
"The diversity of the CIA has brought new experiences and cultures to me as an international student."
