Allison - I love the idea of people connecting as different human beings from different cultures by sharing native foods. I also like the training at the CIA that allows students to immerse themselves in another culture by travelling there and learning about food and cooking from people in their own towns and cities. There are many CIA-trained chefs in our area - Could you interview one? What about the Penobscot School for cooking resources - not the CIA, but would it offer any information or insight through its international teachers?
